The first Fairly OddParents series, which centered on 10-year-old Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents, aired in 2001 and ended in 2017 with 172 episodes. “We are so excited to build upon the ‘Fairly Odd’ universe with this totally unique experience that the new show’s incredibly talented creative team has cooked up for a new generation of kids on Paramount+.”
“During its run, The Fairly OddParents granted an endless amount of imagination to viewers, where no wish was too big or too small,” Co-Head of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Live-Action Zack Olin said in a press release.
Set years after the original, the 13-episode show will follow the story of Timmy Turner’s cousin, Vivian “Viv” Turner ( Audrey Grace Marshall), and her stepbrother, Roy Ragland ( Tyler Wladis), who try to figure out life together in Dimmsdale with the help of Cosmo (Daran Norris) and Wanda (Susanne Blakeslee).
